Thermodynamic properties measurement of HFO1132(E)

PvT properties, saturated densities, and critical parameters of HFO1132(E) were measured with two kinds ofexperimental apparatus. Along eight isochores between 65 and 832 kg m~(-3), PvT property measurements werecarried out in the temperature range from 310 to 400 K and pressures up to 6.4 MPa by the isochoric method.The saturated-vapor and saturated-liquid densities were determined by the visual observation of meniscusdisappearance and by the break point of the PvT property isochores in the temperature range from 304 K tothe critical temperature and in the density range from 65 to 840 kg m~(-3). The critical temperature and densitywere also determined as T_c = 348.82 ± 0.01 K and ρ_c = 438 ± 3 kg m~(-3) on the basis of the meniscus disappearinglevel as well as the intensity of the critical opalescence.
