There are mainly three types of spinner using in the modern textile industry: ring spinner, rotor spinner and vortex flow spinner. As the key technique of automatic rotor spinner, the whole procedure of automatic spinning can be represented by the automatic piecing vehicle, which can also represent the quality of positioning and piecing. There is vibration during positioning and piecing, which would bring the harm into the system. To analyse the vibration brought into the automatic rotor spinner, the virtual prototype should be bui while, the system is systematically described at first. The key part resulting in system vibration is the automatic piecing vehicle. The system is simplified by the structural characteristics; thus, the simulating model of virtual prototype is built. When the vehicle is decelerated to stop during the practical and improved operation, the vibration will be transferred from the vehicle itself to the entity, which can be calculated and compared in the simulation model. The results of simulation and comparison are shown that the main oscillating sources is the vehicle decelerating; furthermore, to decrease the system vibration, it is effective for the vehicle to decelerate the system with a even and smooth curves of retarded motion.
