Technical aspects of EMF monitoring in the environment

The work presents the technical aspects of the assessment of exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) in the environment. In the paper are presented the parameters of the EMF important to the biosphere exposure, presented methods for the EMF assessing: theoretical analysis of EMF intensity in the proximity of EMF sources and also the measurements in situ. Review of measurement methods and identification of limitations of the measuring devices and estimation of the expected EMF intensity in the municipal environment and environmental measurements uncertainty are presented.
