Simplified Modeling of Complex Cable Bundles with Inhomogeneous Cable Paths

In this contribution, the procedure "Equivalent Cable Bundle Method" is used for the simplification of large cable bundles, and it is extended to the application on inhomogeneous cable paths. Furthermore, the effect of a modified consideration of the current distribution within the cables bundle is evaluated. It is shown that that the analyzed approach can be used to generate simplified cable bundles for aribtrary routing geometries. The susceptibility of the simplified cable bundles and the original ones is equivalent.
