The increased use of composite materials in aeronautic industry and the replacement of metallic elements by CFRP ones had led to the development of specific numerical model to understand their electromagnetic behaviour and to better control the current distributions into structures. The electrical conductivity of composite materials significantly influences the design of protections against lightning direct and indirect effects and the management of functional current return inside an aircraft. This paper presents a numerical modelling of multilayer composites materials in a frequency range comprised between the continuous up to few MHz used to address lightning applications. (Abstract)
