The paper presents realistic and standardized approach to modeling the electromagnetic hazards from gun resistant welding devices. Numerical calculations of induced current densities and internal electric field were carried out with the use of 5. and 95. centile workers body models. Investigations concerned both realistic workers posture and postures of geometries A, B and C stated in EN 50505:2007. The results shown that standardized geometries of exposure scenarios recommended by EN 50505:2007 standard may not cover the worst case of worker's exposure to magnetic field from gun welding device (representing by induced current density and internal E-field).
