A microstrip diplexer with low insertion losses and high isolation is proposed. The transmit — receive (Tx — Rx) filters based on the dual-behaviour resonator (DBR) are designed at the required frequency for the realization of a diplexer. The dual-band stub (DBS) is introduced to improve rejection in the upper stopband of the Rx filter. And Tx — Rx filters are cascaded using an optimized T-junction. The measured result of the realized diplexer and the fabrication steps are detailed, in this letter.
