This paper studied the vibration modes, responses and natural frequencies of a straight circular cylindrical tube with static liquid and with flowing fluid, respectively, by experiments. The mass flow can be calculated by the circular cylindrical tube brought Coriolis force when the liquid flows. First, the relationship between the vibrations caused by the flowing liquid and the mass of the flowing liquid is determined. Second, the angular errors of the vibration responses are measured experimentally, and then the mass flow of the tube in the unit time can be expressed computationally. The experiment results express that the approximately accurate mass flows can be obtained through this method. Finally, several explanations are given for the difference between the experimental results and the theoretical values.
