摘要

Joint time-frequency analysis as a powerful tool is widely used in many fields recently. Now we use it to process the information of multilayer geology through transient electromagnetic soundings. The goal of this article is to provide a new and effective viewpoint trying to solve the problems of the geologic detecting effectively. In the past research, most attention was concentrated on explaining the basic modem such as two-layer and three-layer medium in different ways. Now this paper brings forward a farther research on the multilayer geology, which is more close to actual earth structure. The results of this paper show that joint time-frequency analysis is promising to interpret the information of transient electromagnetic soundings. Through this way, it is also hopeful to solve some trouble geological problem better than before.
