The authors describe a new method for limiting the switch resistance of switched networks in modified modal analysis. In this method, the limit of switch resistance (conductance) r to 0(g to 0) is replaced with the limit of Laplace's transformation variable s to 0, and the limit of switch resistance (conductance) is taken as the steady state of a virtual state equation. The limiting of switch resistance (conductance) is calculated in the form of iterative multiplications of an unchangeable nonsingular coefficient matrix and a vector. Therefore, the parameter for the next switching pattern is obtained without using any other algorithms even though the modified modal equation is singular. The inversion theorem can be used for inverting the coefficient matrix, and the estimation of the coefficient matrix could be reduced in the order of the number of changing switches.
