摘要

To solve the problems of secondary impact of auto-transformer starter and the high cost of magnetic controllable reactor, the auto-transformer and magnetic control (ATMC) soft start method for super large capacity and high voltage motor is proposed in this paper, and the auto-transformer and magnetic control soft starter that coupling the auto-transformer and magnetic-valve controllable reactor (MCR) is designed. First, the principle and structure of the soft starter are introduced. Next, the working process of the soft starter is described. In addition, the calculation method of reactance adjustment range of magnetic-valve controllable reactor is given. Finally, the simulation results show that this method can effectively reduce the starting current of super large capacity motor and eliminate the secondary impact.
