Assessing Visual Comfort and Perceptual Image Quality of Stereoscopic 3D TVs

摘要

A psycho-visual experiment was conducted to compare perceptual image quality and visual comfort of a patterned retarder (PR) and a shutter glasses (SG) 3D TV. The results showed that ghosting and flicker are the two major factors affecting the visual comfort and total preferences, especially for SG-type display.
