Adaptive Two-line inversion Driving for Low-power Display

摘要

New two-line based inversion driving method is introduced for low-power consumption of display driver IC. By separated control between offset cancellation and LCD's polarity, we can decrease power consumption without any degradation of display quality. Experimental results show 12%'s decrease of power consumption in DDI at white pattern and 27% at black pattern with 17" LCD application.
