A simple model for I-R drops in the power supplies of AMOLED displays has been established. Considering display size and brightness, different solutions for AMOLED are compared: top emission versus bottom emission, impact of the aperture ratio, the sheet resistivity of metals, the number and location of contact areas for power supplies.
