Advances in Scrubbing Incinerator Off-Gas

ALTECH Technology Systems Inc. (Altech) of Toronto, Ontario was contacted by a major Canadian solid waste incinerator manufacturer (Infratech Corporation) to design and supply a complete air pollution control system to meet strict regulatory air emission limits for a diamond mine operation at a remote location in Northern Ontario. Due to the regulatory requirements controlling solid waste and sewage sludge generated at the site, all waste had to be disposed of in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Environment standards,. The only transportation to the site was by aircraft or ice bridge with a limited season, therefore incineration of all waste within Ministry standards was a viable, less costly alternative.
