Column Flotation of Coal Slurries

Paper is concerning floatability of black coal from Mine Lazy by means of Flotalex, Montanol and PE_2 collectors. The goal of the work was verification of floatability of mentioned coal as well as flotation collectors selectivity. The investigation was carried out on class - 0.5 mm in a column flotation. From the flotation results followed that Flotalex and Montanol have approximately equal recovery while Flotalex have better selectivity. Results which were obtained by PE_2 collector are not satisfactory.
