Production profile logging in uncased hole in heavy oil reservoir is always a tough problem troubling the logging analyst. Currently, in domestic or on abroad, there is no matching way of interpretation or model for the production profile logging in this kind of reservoir. In A Oilfield, a fracture type heavy oil reservoir with open hole completion, the issue of production profile logging is discussed in the area of the tool improvement and data interpretation, especially in the way of interpretation. By the analysis of the oil viscosity affecting on the turbine flow rate logging, an empirical formula of threshold velocity ratio is given to realize the viscosity correction of fluid apparent velocity. Through the theoretical study, another empirical formula is provided to complete the borehole correction in the process of calculating apparent velocity correction coefficient and holdup. According to the heavy-oil-producing characteristic in open hole, the downhole calibration interpretation model is improved to determine the apparent velocity correction coefficient in every fluid-producing zone, in which the borehole size, apparent velocity and holdup are different. A method or model of data interpretation about production profile logging is formed in the fracture type heavy oil reservoir with open hole completion. The initial application result is remarkable.
