This paper deduced the equivalent temperature function and its rising rate function of thermo-bimetal release long time-delay in the low-voltage circuit breakers and the thermal relay, named the related hot parameters and dependability parameters, listed expression types and inferred the practicable formulas. Not only for designing and choosing the model number and for working out the flexibility and effective flexibility, they provided necessary parameters, but for determining the action time superior in the limit of release and calculating the temperature converting factor before going into production, they also provide handy method, so that saved a lot of experiment work. In it the Peking people electric appliances factory GM100M-3300/100A that is produced as an example, we went on testing, calculating and verifying.
