FUZZY CONTEXT MODEL FOR THE REPRESENTATION AND MANIPULATION OF VAGUE KNOWLEDGE

In this paper we firstly introduce the notion of a fuzzy context model to deal with situations of data analysis where both vagueness and conflict co-exist. We will show that the fuzzy context model can provide a constructive approach to fuzzy sets of type 2 emerged from a view-point of modeling conceptual knowledge as well as to a uncertainty measure of type 2 interpreted as "vague" belief function, which is inferred from vague evidence expressed linguistically.
