Application of fluorescence staining technique on findings of viable and non-viable fungal cells

Fungi in house environments have generally been counted just viable fungal cells by cultivating. However, it is important for study of fungal ecology in natural field to find distribution of total fungi whether they are viable or non-viable. In this study, we report a quick and accurate method of finding non-viable fungal cells as well as viable ones by fluorescence staining technique and the paplication on investigation of fungi in house dust.
