DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS FOR CONCENTRIC MANDREL AND STACKABLE COEXTRUSION BLOWN FILM DIES

It is the author's intent to compare two types of commonly used coextrusion dies, the industry standard concentric mandrel style and the much heralded stackable design. Each has its advantages and its drawbacks. One design may be better in some applications than in others and is hence rioted. Direct comparisons are made where applicable.
