摘要

This paper describes the development of the EHF offset reflector antenna system for personal communication picoterminals. The picoterminal antenna system is an experimental unit designed by InfoMagnetics Technologies Corporation for personal communications via satellite from any stationary location at an EHF band of 20/30 GHz. The antenna system consists of mechanically steered linearly polarized offset paraboloid reflector that uses a shared aperture for both Tx/Rx bands and fits into a small briefcase of 350*250*500 mm size. The numerical modelling of the antenna system is completed and the experimental investigation is currently underway.
