The electric unbalanced factor of a real quadruple-circuit transmission lines with 220 kV/1000 kV and 220 kV/500kV on the same tower in different sections is simulated by Electro-Magnetic Transient Program(EMTP). The simulation indicates that the current unbalanced factor of 220kV transmission lines is affected by the service conditions of 1000kV and 500kV lines, and that of 500kV transmission lines is also influenced by 1000kV transmission lines through 220kV lines. To reduce the electric unbalanced factor, the reverse phase sequence arrangement of double-circuit 220kV lines is recommended.
