Electromobility is growing constantly and rapidly. At the same time, its integration into the electrical network must be smoothly implemented. Otherwise, the quality of supply in the low voltage network will deteriorate. Uncontrolled charging of the Electric vehicle (EV) can lead to voltage violation. Therefore, communication and information technology is a good solution for integrating EVs in the electrical grid and turn their negative effect into an opportunity to regulate the smart grid. ISO/ IEC 15118, as an international standard for communication between the EV and the charging station (CS), plays an important role in this respect. This enables the transmission of energy-relevant information and thus a flexibly controllable charging and regenerative process. In this paper, a developed test system according to the ISO/IEC 15118 standard is presented and the result of its functionality in an electrical network is researched and analyzed.
