The design and characteristics of a linear 10-element array of an antipode Vivaldi antennas (AVA) was presented in this paper. The antenna parameters were optimized. To improve the radiation pattern and increase the realized gain, a horn was additionally used. The operating frequency range of the antenna array on the level of the VSWR is less than 3 and in the absence of large dips in the frequency characteristics of the realized gain is in the range from 5.5 to 11.0 GHz. The VSWR of the extreme (first and last) antennas does not exceed 3.0, and for all the others it is no more than 2.5. The realized gain is in the range from 12.4 to 18.5 dB. The radiated power exceeds 0.75 W with the input power of each antenna equal to 0.1 W.
