To extend the backscattering pattern of radar reflectors, it is proposed to use annular antenna arrays with axisymmetric reactive beamforming networks. The operation of such a reflector is similar in principle to a lens reflector. The requirements for the scattering matrix of the beam-forming scheme are formulated, and the conditions for its realizability are determined. One of the possible beam forming network synthesis method is demonstrated. Based on the results of numerical modeling, it is shown that even reflectors with a small number of radiators are able to provide backscattering reflections in a sector up to 180 degrees.
