Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) can be defined as the Internet of things which is used across various industries. IIoT projects are about atomization and optimization. IIoT reports an industrial transformation with reference to connected machines. The communication systems and supply chain monitoring are empowered by IoT. IIOT has its main focus on machine to machine (M2M) communication. Several communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, XMPP, AMQP etc. are used for M2M communication in IIOT. IIOT might allow individuality, flexibility, resource saving etc. But it possesses several security issues such as sabotage, industrial espionage as well as DoS attacks, which may results into performance degradation. In IoT the number of devices is growing exponentially. These large numbers of connected devices in IoT are providing wide variety of services in various application domains like IIoT, home applications, healthcare services and many more. An essential requirement is ability to determine the outstanding service depending on the nonfunctional requirements like Quality of Service (QoS), either at design as well as at runtime using runtime service transformation, whenever the ongoing executing services commence to deteriorate. In this paper we focus on security issues and the novel approach for security enhancing the security through evaluation of QoS parameters in IIOT system.
