摘要

A new method for locating ground faults in distribution network was introduced by analysis of the characteristics of the ground fault for the isolated neutral system. The method by comparing the longitudinal current change of the adjacent measurement point to judge the ground fault location, and has verify it by building the simulation model on the PSCAD/EMTDC. The results show that the method has a strong ability of resistance to transition resistance. The specific implementation scheme was given based on the fault indicator which is widely used in distribution network at present.
