The input expansion characteristics were decomposed and analyzed in view of the impending demand for intelligent making development. And then the input explosion effect of intelligent manufacturing system was revealed comparing to the traditional manufacturing system, based on which a public construction strategy for intelligent manufacturing system was proposed so as to accelerate it into a practical using stage.
