摘要

To alleviate the energy crisis and environmental pollution problem, more and more renewable energy generations are integrated into the power grid. Since the output power of the renewable energy generations fluctuates randomly, the integration of the renewable generation brings significant impact on the operation of the power system. It is well known that the hydropower generation has good feature of quickly power regulation, and the solar energy source is abundant near the hydro-power station in the West of China. Hence, a photovoltaic- hydropower combined generation system is proposed, and it is integrated into the power grid via a ±800kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission line. The simulations are carried out on PSCAD, and the frequency regulation characteristic is also studied. The results demonstrate good dynamic characteristic of the combined energy generation system.
