As these conditions change, the rotary kiln thrust balance will also experience changes that may impact many areas of maintenance and day to day operations. From normal and daily wear and tear, to complete failure. A sudden or abrupt change in the process, mechanics, or weather may contribute to an imminent thrust issue. Proper operation and maintenance activities will help alleviate the most chronic problems experienced with thrust balance issues on rotary kilns.
