Brake is an important safety device of elevator, it is necessary to test the braking performance of elevator brake. The rotation angle of the elevator brake wheel in the braking process reflects the braking performance of the elevator. The smaller the rotation angle is, the better the braking performance is. The video information of elevator braking process is captured by industrial camera, and the angle of brake wheel is obtained based on image recognition technology. Based on the image recognition technology, the software extracts and fits the contour of the elevator brake wheel, and reverses the external parameter matrix of the camera, so as to identify the current angle of the brake wheel. Through the video data of elevator brake braking process captured by industrial camera, each frame image is cached, and external parameters are updated regularly. At the same time, each frame image is processed to obtain the average speed between two adjacent frames of brake wheel, and the average speed is taken as the instantaneous speed to draw the image of speed changing with time. When braking, the rotation angle of the elevator brake wheel in the braking process reflects the braking performance of the elevator. The smaller the rotation angle in the braking process, the better the braking performance. The software can accurately identify the rotation angle of the rotating wheel to verify the performance of the elevator braking system and ensure the safe operation of the elevator.
