摘要

This paper presents a grid-tied renewable photovoltaic (PV) Distributed static compensator (DSTATCOM) system using a modified $l_0$ norm Least Mean Kurtosis (LMK) algorithm. The proposed system meets the power demand of the load side during daytime and maintains the power quality of the system as per the IEEE standard. Excess power during this time is transferred to the grid. During nighttime it improves the power quality of the system. The voltage at the DC point is kept up at its specified value using Perturb and Observe (P&O) based MPPT algorithm. The proposed algorithm ameliorates the performance of the system during the transient condition and reduces steady state error.
