Tilt angle calculation for installation of PV systems for mountainous regions of Himachal Pradesh India

摘要

As interest towards solar energy is increasing therefore maximum power generation becomes an important issue. With photovoltaic systems power is maximized by using tilt angle resulting in optimum sizing and maximum power. Therefore optimum tilt angle (OTA) for 15 sites of Himachal Pradesh, India are calculated for installation of PV based standalone and hybrid system. The new correlations of annual OTA in terms of latitude is developed which can be useful for tilt angle selection.
