摘要

Thispaper presents a smart real time demand side management strategy for domestic energy consumers with major HVAC load. The conventional demand side management methods and their shortcomings are also discussed concisely. The proposed framework uses the home energy simulator and MATLAB together for simulation. The proposed mechanism is adaptive to the seasonal changes and weather which makes it more effective for real time implementation. Two different algorithms are proposed for HVAC load optimization considering the effect of pre-cooling and without pre-cooling. The effectiveness of the proposed mechanism is presented with reduction in both per day energy consumption and corresponding cost of energy.
