Tunable Multicolored Emission and Slow Magnetic Relaxation in the series of EuxTb_(1-x)Co(CN)6 complexes

Cyano-bridged complexes with novel functionalities, such as light-induced spin crossover ferromagnet1 and polarization switchable photomagnet2, has been reported. Inspired by these works, series of trimetallic complexes {[Eu~(III)_xTb~(III)_(1-x) (3-OHpy)2(H2O)4][Co~(III)(CN)6]}.H2O (x = 1, 0.8, 0.5, 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1, 0; compounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ) bridged by cyanide ligand have been synthesized3.
