IoT is revolutionizing the way we live life today. Hundreds of thousands of devices are entering the Internet connected world and sending / receiving tons of data at scales never before seen. Smart phones, smart refrigerators, smart bands, activity monitors, smart watches and plenty more devices are seamlessly communicating with each other. Prior to the emergence of Internet of Things (IoT), the data producers and consumers were large enterprises. Apart from the large enterprises - if we could observe the banking & transportation sectors, one would notice that banks processed data referring to the millions of transactions everyday - Transportation companies like FedEx were surrounded by omnipresent data points - around every package they delivered. All of the above mentioned data needed to be stored in a secure environment. Today, data storage is rooting its base beyond the conventional enterprises - into the IoT framework - dealing with newer landscapes for upcoming industries (e.g. smart homes) and IoT devices (e.g. smart-watch). With all the data being exchanged between plethora of devices, storing and remembering the secret & sensitive data (i.e. passwords, keys) is posing a serious challenge. With the advent of IoT, number of devices possessed by an individual has close to doubled - owing to the increase in sensitive secret data. This paper deals with a novel invention in the field of `IoT storage' for securely storing sensitive data (keys, passwords, secrets for user authentication) on an organic human hair. The invention provides a method of cryptographically storing data onto an organic optical memory by using `Excimer Laser' and accessing the stored data by using `Multi-Wavelength LED' light source.
