Parabolic antenna of a radio telescope: Design and mount conescapan XXXVI Panamá 2017

摘要

This work presents the design process of a parabolic antenna and its mount that will be used for the implementation of a radio telescope, having as a requirement a diameter of 4.8 meters. Simulations with Autodesk Inventor and Bentley were performed in order to validate the characteristics of the proposed model. The final design keeps the standards of structural designs for Guatemala.
