The following article outlines the design and construction of a working prototype of a vibrational analysis system, with the purpose of using it as a lower cost alternative to existing solutions. With the use of CompactRIO equipment, triaxial accelerometers, low-pass filters and a LabVIEW, it enables spectral analysis of the different frequencies present in the vibrations of a motor. This analysis can then be used to diagnose, report and recommend actions for predictive maintenance, based on the 10816-1 standard. Said prototype was tested on electric motors and was determined to be functional since its results showed similarity to the theoretical results.
