Next-Generation Transportation Vulnerabilities

摘要

In this paper, we investigate some of the key security issues and challenges associated with next generation transportation systems. We analyze the flow of information associated with embedded systems-based transportation framework and smart vehicles. We have identified some of the key challenges that manufactures should deal with as it relates to cyber security threats (e.g., malwares, CAN bus communication, and GPS spoofing) for vehicular systems. Finally, we have explored the measures that the industry can adapt to mitigate those key concerns.
