Web applications face various challenges to deal with huge traffic on Internet today. With increasing number of user's, it becomes difficult to handle the web traffic on these web sites. If only one server will handle the whole traffic, it would be overloaded and will result in slow response time and bottleneck. Thus, this huge traffic has to be shared among multiple servers. Load balancing means to transfer the load of one web server to another so that all web servers will be balanced. The major contribution of this research is to suggest a framework for load balancing in web server cluster system based on various user requirements and to present its execution on one of the web services based on load factor. This paper also presents an experimental analysis of running this framework in web environment using a GUI based tool to prove the proposed research and to present the evaluation of experiments based on the scenario “with load factor” and “without load factor”.
