In this paper, a study on two-dimensional (2-D) Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) estimation capabilities of MUltiple SIgnal Classification (MUSIC), Joint-Singular Value Decomposition (J-SVD) and Cross Correlation Matrix (CCM) algorithms are analysed in terms of standard deviation and root mean square error with signal-to-noise ratio. An L-shaped array antenna is chosen at the receiver that accepts the signal whose direction is to be determined.
