摘要

The present paper deals with space charge in alumina-filled epoxy resin for HVDC applications. The aim is to study the residual electric field in cylindrical insulators made of alumina-filled epoxy resin when they are subjected to high DC stress. This work concerns the behavior of the composite under 5, 11 and 28 kV applied, at a temperature of 25 °C. The electric field repartition in the bulk of cylindrical samples is determined. The space charge relaxation processes just after manufacturing and after application of each stress are assessed.
