This study attempts to provide physiological and psychological evidence to cross-validate educational and esthetic experiences in leisure activities. The high ropes group had 31 participants while the in-line skating had 30. This study adopts both self-reported questionnaires and physiological indices from electroencephalograph (EEG), heart rate variability (HRV) derived from electrocardiograph (ECG), and eye tracker in watching high ropes activities and in-line skating performances. The results showed in general self-reported educational and esthetic experiences were related to activate physiological responses but the relationships would be influenced by whether the respondents were familiar with the target activities.
