摘要

This study has considered using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) model to generate and store the required information of green building indicators. The purposes of this study are first to explore what and how the required information can be generated and stored in the BIM model and then develop a BIM green building evaluation software to simplify evaluation procedure. The green building information of foliage and lot water-retention indicators is considered in this research. The information generated is then exported through ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) to the BIM Green Building Evaluation Software which is developed by ER Studio, Visual Studio and InterBase Server environment. The foliage and lot water-retention indicators of a building can be calculated automatically to simplify complicated calculations. Finally, a study case is presented to demonstrate and validate the evaluation procedure.
