Efficient and secured search on encrypted cloud data for mobile device

Cloud computing is a new computing model which allows users to store and retrieve their data efficiently. For security reasons data should be encrypted. The data stored in the cloud should be searched and retrieved without any privacy issue, particularly on mobile devices. The traditional search system allows users to retrieve data from the cloud, but the system design cannot be used for mobile cloud paradigm, because of shortcomings of Wireless Network such as 1. Communication latency, 2. Connectivity problem, and 3. Reduced transmission rate. These results in increased search time and additional network load. The proposed scheme “efficient and secured search on encrypted cloud data for mobile device” addresses the issues of traditional system. The innovative method adopts a light weight trapdoor compression method, which reduces the trapdoor's size and increases the transmission rate. This scheme uses two methods to optimize data search 1. Trapdoor mapping table (TMT) 2. Ranked Serial Binary Search (RSBS) algorithm to speed up the document retrieval time hence overcomes the communication latency and connectivity problem. The results demonstrate that search time and network traffic of proposed system is better than traditional system.
