Research on the data interchange between MongoDB and RDBMS

As we all know, MongoDB, a document type NoSQL database, was applied to data management systems for many ocean observing plans because of its powerful horizontal scalability and flexible querying modes in recent years. However, scientists from different observing plans are suffering from a critical embarrassment when they study the same science subject: the data they need are usually stored in different kinds of databases as RDBMS are also widely used in other data management systems of ocean observing. From this point of view, the problem of interchanging data between MongoDB and RDBMS needs to be overcome as soon as possible. A schema is presented in this paper to solve this data migration problem between two of them. The dynamic schema and non-normal form data type problems are solved in this schema. At last, an implementation of migrating data from MongoDB to MySQL is given.
