摘要

An all-optical photorefractive frnge-adjusted joint transform correlation (JTC) technique is proposed for the recognition of multiple targets.The porposed scheme is based on incoherent-to-coherent conversion with the erasure of a four-wave mixing arrangement n a real-time photorelfreactive media.This technique is very fast because it generates the correlation output in one step and all intermediate processing is performed in the optical domain.To eliminate the self correlation terms between the similar input scene targets we employed a novel correlation plane image subtration technique.Computer simulation results are presented to verify the perforamnce of the proposed JTC technique.
