In the recent years the development of nanostructured materials applied in the most variety of devices (sensors, solar cells, displays and so on) have attracting a large interest of researchers. The graphene discovery opened a new possibilities for application of this material in devices that demand high electrical conductivity, improved mechanical performance, flexibility and transparency. The present work had as porpouse the application of graphene and their composites in the confection of devices, such as dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The synthesis process of the composites ZnO/graphene was successfully carried out with reduction of graphene oxide filler in the surface of the zinc oxide nanoparticles. Dye sensitized solar cell made with the synthesis product exhibited initially good results showing a promissing system.
