The design and implementation of clinicalpathway based on MVC framework

Purposes: We aimed to design an electronic system of clinical pathway based onMVC framework which can help to regulate and improve the clinical practice. Procedures: On the basis of investigation and analysis of clinical pathway andMVC framework, we combine with the information handover of patient data andmedical diagnostic. Finally we form systematic research result. Methods: Based on the structure of MVC framework, Stuts2, Spring andHibernate technology, we design a system of clinical pathway. We integrate thedata resource of EMR, HIS, and LIS in the system. Results: The system can give the suggestion of diagnosis by means of logicaljudgment of clinical pathway, and it also can report the change of patient'scondition in time. Conclusion: The method that designs the clinical pathway based on MVCframework raises the capacity of assisting analysis and data integration, whichwill help in promoting the clinical pathway. It may be deserved further study.
